On 22nd April The Friends of St Georges, together with a great band of helpers, put together a lunchtime feast at Wyverstone Village Hall.
Over 60 people enjoyed a 3 course lunch (as well as a game of George and the Dragon!) – all followed by some lively entertainment by ‘The Kettle Girls’.
The finale was for table winners to have a go at ‘Slaying the Dragon’ – it was a close contest, and the winnings were shared very equitably!
The day was a great success, and over £1,000 was raised to help with the running and maintenance of St Georges. A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who made the day run smoothly, and all who came along to support it.
