Bacton Community Work Club

Are you out of work, or looking to change career?education-books-pens

Every Thursday, between 9 and 10:30am, a group of experienced advisers meet in the Community Room of Bacton Church.  The aim is to help local people who are out of work, trying to get back into work, or are seeking work for the first time.

This service is completely free of charge.

Our aim is to create an environment where the members support each other in their quest for employment and share their experiences along the way.

The Work Club will provide advice, mutual support and facilities to enable those who are seeking new employment to maximise their opportunities, to make the most of their skills and abilities and to improve their self marketing and job searching abilities.

We work with Job Centre Plus and other agencies where appropriate, involving current local employers and work place achievers, offering personal advice and encouraging mutual support.

We can already offer advice on the recruitment process, CV writing, interview techniques, self marketing and personal mentoring.
